The vehicle was spluttering and then it cut out when she got to the the front of her work. We promptly went to work on the fuel drain following her call and got it resolved inside an hour while she was in the office. She came out later on and thanked us saying, "I'm very relieved you sorted my vehicle."

It was about five pm on a Thursday and while we were assured a rainless day, it hadn't stopped pouring! Brian and I were relaxing commenting on the recent footy results, ready for the next fuel drain for the day to arrive. Inevitably we received a phone call from a woman on a business excursion who had pulled into the BP petrol garage and put the wrong fuel in her diesel Cross Roads rental. She was quite affected it seemed, telling me "I simply cannot believe I have ruined the vehicle! I'm just so used to filling my petrol car that I completely forgot I was operating a diesel!" I just instructed her to calm down and not to worry, and that such things regrettably do happen. She had managed to move the vehicle into a safe area and, since it was only a short distance off from us, we could find the woman almost instantly. The contaminated fuel was drained and she was able to return to the Travelodge she was staying in. Despite the fact that we got extremely drenched, it was all worthwhile to see her drive home calm and much less apprehensive. One more misfuel correction done well in my opinion!
